Default spark plug wires? need help!

Hey,
I've got a wrx motor and I am running the stock electrical system, the only problem is the spark plug wires won't reach far enough.
My question is...will any spark plug wires work? I don't think on a 1997 legacy I have anything special. I have got a coil pack on top of the motor and normal LOOKING wires on it now.
Maybe I could find some that are long enough that I might have to only cut the plug to fit?
I dunno, I am pretty open for ideas at the moment...

soo you need wires for a ej20k

shot in the dark, 98 RS (dohc external coil) wires might fit .. you might have to get two sets and use the long wires

What ECU are you using?

If you're using a WRX ecu, then you'll need coilpacks - one per plug.
