Question Fumoto valve substitute?

I was in my local Advance Auto parts store yesterday and saw that Fram (I think, I could be wrong) is now making a quick release drain plug for your oil pan. It comes with a 4-5 inch tube to direct the oil into the pan. They had a few models there for different cars, but I did not spend the time to see if the Subies were on the fitment list. They were selling for about $14. Has anyone else seen/used these? Are they comparable to the Fumoto valves?

They're OK (got one for my Miata) but don't come in Subaru size.

Crap, why carry around an extra part? The fumoto is a single unit.

The fumoto looks to be far more burly, isnt made with an industrial compressed gas valve?

As far as the extra part goes, I think it is optional. I would see why you would need it.

I did not expect them to have one for the Subies.
