Thumbs up Autospeed flex uppipe

Had Rallispec in Jersey do the install. Actually, they also had the uppipe. Decided not to go with the one I had already after seeing this one. This was the first one they got inand installed. Excellent quality. 304 stainless Iwas told by rallispec. It does not have an EGT bung but comes w/ a egt sensor fix. The flex unit is not a sleeved- thru design. But rather open like the STi piece. 3/8 thick flanges on both sides w/ studs and new nuts. Did not include gaskets. Price was $339. When you see the quality and feel the throttle response, you'd agree it was worth it. I'm sure once more of these get out there, price will come down. The increase in throttle response is seriously evident anywhere above 2500 rpm. I heard the open flex unit opposed to a sleeved style produces turbulent air. There is no hesitation or fluctuation in boost. Just HARD pulls to redline from any rpm.
Now my TXS stage 3 is complete. TXS turbo back, txs I/C(ver1), autospeed uppipe, and u-chip mapped for stage 2+tmic.

Exhaust got meaner sounding. A few more pops at throttle lift and slightly deeper. Definately louder.

I forgot the most important thing. The flex is at the bottom of pipe(4" from manifold) rather than close to turbo. This is suppose to drastically reduce the turbulance caused by the open flex section.

For the front, Yes. If you have a turbo back exhaust w/ one or less cats, may want to buy rear O2 fix. Only $20.

I bought the Autospeed Uppipe from Vivid on sale for $200. I installed about 3 weeks ago.
The pipe looks really nice, as the previous review said, the flex unit is at the manifold end instead of the turbo end. The flex is an accordion style sleeve fitted into the pipes on both ends and the pipes are sleeved into the flanges and welded on both sides.
The pipe installed well and I have no leaks and no cels after three weeks (using the supplied resistor). I am also very pleased iwth the performance, the turbo spools up about 200-300 rpms sooner than my buddy's wrx and I can definitely feel and see the difference.
Nice product. Highly recommended.

Post small note

Just wanted to note (I helped w/the install of one of these the other day) the nuts that come w/the upper stud bolts for the piece are 17mm. I thought that was kind of weird since most of the OEM exhause bolts are 14mm. So the nuts are a little larger and we had just a little bit of an issue getting on one of the nuts on due to fitment issues with the socket we were using.... other then that small note, nice piece!
