yeah, you're cool to come out. If you bring the mustang you'll probably have an instant friend at the meet (one of the guys there is a mustang nut) and the rest of us will only laugh at you a little bit.

we're already too busy laughing at the toyota and outback drivers

whats up people, sorry I do not own a STI or WRX, however I drive an Evo 8. So far I've only found 3 guys in sacramento that drives Evo and we thought it'd be cool if we can find some WRX and STI guys to meet up with and chit chat. So would it be okie if we meet up sometime, let me know the time and location. Also I have some buddies with a few NSX's so we have a whole bunch of exotic mixes in there. Let me know.

Are you on sunrise very often? I constantly see a black evo down there. Also in Mather near Sac Raceway I saw a silver one with dealer plates maybe someone you know?

The black Evo you saw at sunrise is one of the guys I met so far that drives an Evo. If you look at the back bumper he took off the Evo emblems and stuff. In any case that should be him cuz he says he cruises sunrise all the time. So... is anyone intereseted in getting together for a quick meet, like really soon???? Let me know. PM or post up, come on lets get this party started.

We usually meet on Saturday's at 6pm at the PizzaPucks/Togo's off of Truxel. I think there is a link to mapquest directions in the first post of this thread.

I say come out, I haven't seen an Evo up close and personal yet

We usually eat dinner in that center, then decide what else to do from there. Movies, karting, RC/Cars, whatever else.

I don't know if I'll make it this week, family stuff in the Bay, but maybe the next weekend or so.

sorry if i asked this question again, i was looking through the thread and I couldn't find the mapquest directions to your Saturday night 6pm meets. Sorry, but I just moved up here recently so I dont have a clue of where everything is. Can someone be kind enough to post the directions (give me dummy directions i.e which freeway etc. and exit etc...) so I can meet up with you guys.

thanks dudes.

Alright, are you closer to highway 80 or highway 50? I can give you directions from both.

If you are close to 80, get on 80 and go towards downtown. If you are coming from the east, you will see Truxel road before you reach 5 north. If you are coming from the west, you will see Truxel road right after 5. It is one intersection away from 5, so that's how you'll know if you went too far. Take a left on Natomas Crossing. It should be the second or third light, depending on where you go off the freeway.

If you are close to 50, get on 50 and head towards downtown. Get onto 5 north. A few miles later, take 80 east towards Reno. Then get off on Truxel, it will be the first exit after you get onto 80. Take a left on Truxel. Then you should take a left on the 3rd light. The street is called Natomas Crossing.

Here is a mapquest link. It will take you to a driving directions page where you can enter your own address, and then find directions to our meet place.

We usually park in the part of the lot that is right in front of a soon-to-be-built Sushi resturant. Kinda near the Starbucks.

Are you going to be out there this weekend?

Quite alright. On the first post of this thread is a link that says simply the word 'Directions'. It isn't underscored so maybe that's why it might be a little difficult to notice.

Hey guys, Merry Christmas. I'm in Sac for Christmas weekend, and was wondering if anyone is meeting on Saturday?

Also, can anyone recomend a good shop, preferebly in Folsom, that does suspension work? I'm getting my rex lowered, and was going to attempt to get it done up here.

Happy Holidays to all.

We *always* meet on Saturdays. No exceptions this week, though I may not make it out. For your suspension, there's no better shop than S-Squared. Give 'em a call, they're open Friday and Saturday. Tell them the cheap bastard with the Outback sent you

As a voucher for Nate's skills, I'm about to have him install a 6MT in my car, along with an STi shortblock, ported heads, VF30, and lots of custom parts/fabbing to make it all work in my RS. I wouldn't take it anywhere else.
