hey all im new to the WRX world, but am definetly going to try to make it out tomorrow night to meet up with some fellow car enthusiasts. Its a bit of a drive for me (from santa rosa) but it sounds like it will be worth it.
Who is s-squared by the way?? Is it a tuning shop? I just ordered a bunch of stuff (up pipe, turbo back, boost controller, intake) and am looking for a good shop to put it all together for me.
Anyway, i hope to see you all there, ill be in a black 04 sedan no spoiler and 5% tinted windows all around.

S-Squared is a killer local tuning/fabricating/rally prep shop in Sacramento. Representatives and customers for the shop are at almost *any* local meet, just ask us

Hi guys! I'm fairly new, but if you allow chicks as anything other than a girlfriend and if you promise not to send me off to the mall with the other girls, I'd love to come check it out one of these Saturdays.

My WRX is only 3 weeks old (already has 1200 miles!), so no mods yet, but I'd love to see what you all have done!

I don't think I could make it tomorrow because we're going to have the car pulled apart to install seat heaters (fingers crossed), but maybe next weekend?

Come on out, we won't send you off to the mall with the other girls. The more people that come out the merrier. And I'm sure there will be plenty of people there who will be able to "talk shop" and whatnot.

Well - I'm not driving it to work since we still have three cars. Haven't sold the Discovery yet. So for now it's only been driven on weekends. Been snowboarding three times and to Reno, though...

My husband and I are in the middle of installing OEM seat heaters, so right now it's totally torn apart.

Cold and cloudy, but you're probably already up here!

Hope to see you all soon!

You can bring your husband too!

Thanks guys! Took 2 days, but we finally got the seat heaters installed! It's actually not as hard as we made it, but they're in and they work.

I'll try to make it out next weekend.

Let me know when and where and I would love to come hang. Shoot me an email and let me know (i might forget to check back here)

Hey guys,

What;s going on? I picked up a 2004 WRX silver wagon over the weekend. There seem to be a few of those floating around! Man, this car is a blast to drive. I can't wait until it is fully broken in!!

It would be cool to get to one of these meet-ups and hang out with other Subaru drivers. Also, I wanted to find out some good road trips from Sacramento that can take me up into the hills for a fun drive with my g/f

Take your pick here: http://www.pashnit.com/motoroads.htm

We usually do 3 or 4 drives per year when the weather is better.

I know! Since I got mine (silver wagon) in December I've seen so many of them. And yeah, it's MUCH funner when it's all broken in, especially when someone in a sports coupe tries not to let you merge. Sacramento drivers have gotten so bad! (present company excluded).

Do any of you guys know if a blow-off valve would void the warranty and/or interfere with passing SMOG?

Thanks!

It 'll definitely interfere with smog.
Warranty is gonna depend on what break; if it's something the rep can attribute to a change in boost pressure, yeah, you're screwed.

So, if they want to, they could void the engine coverage, but it's not gonna void your warranty claims for the interior or suspension or whatever....

They aren't smog legal, but it shouldn't affect your warranty. Just makes the car slower.

Subaru Banner NEWBIE SUBIE IN SAC

Hey Sacto subies,

I'll bring my 04 silver wagon out soon. I'm on shift this sat, but I'll be out sooner or later. Is the meet still in Natomas? Address or intersection?

Anyone know speed shops besided Motorsport Dynamics in Sac, especially one that knows subies?

Is anyone getting rid of silver 18" rims by chance? Just thought I'd ask.

Best quote of the day "How the hell did that little station wagon just smoke my $50,000 BMW?" This said by the soccer mom who tried to jack me off the line today...hahaha.

Still at Natomas. Intersection of Natomas Crossing and Truxel. 6pm every saturday. The corner with the Starbucks.

We do have a Subaru specialist in Sac, employees and customers come out all the time; S-Squared. www.ss-ms.com on the web.

Come out when you can. Hope to see you there.

I wouldn't mind heading back up Wentworth Springs Rd this spring to see the snow at Loon Lake.

Ice fishing at Loon Lake.
