Post My feature GR8RIDE.COM car

Check out the car, it will be a feature car on GR8RIDE.com shortly. It's
up there now, but they are going to make it a feature.* It was in
May 00 of PC World too.

More pics at:

http://www.geocities.com/iamgeorge1/

So, do you like it?

Is Clarion going to offer a unit that will play mp3 cds like Aiwa's CDC-MP3?

I am not into car stereo, but I do have a lot of my music mp3-formatted.

It looks like the Ebruni front bumper to me..
I like the bumper I don't care for the radio placement at all...

I did forget to say that it looks good..

I think that is just the greddy front lip on the standard rs bumper. looks great you could probably flush mount the rear sub so that you can use the trunk space better though. Looks very good!

Front Stage
-----------
Clarion tweeters in stock location
Clarion 6.5" in the doors
Lots and lots of dynamat max on the doors
-Without going to Donald's pods there is not much hope for good bass out of the doors
-I'm engineering a center channel right now
3.5"

Front Bumper
---------
This is the stock RS with a Greddy Front bumper lip

Rims
----
Asix Wheelsite Mesh 205/40/17

Looks
----
For the pictures I actually washed the car, which is a rarity

Clarion MP3
----------
The unit installed in up top is a Clarion AutoPC. This unit has two different MP3 applications for it. It's the first in-dash CD-ROM and CFC based MP3 player, and still the only. The AutoPC has been available since 1998. Go to the stereo forum, subject Who has MP3 player for more info and autopc.com. In one of the pics on my site you can see the MP3 application icon.

PC World
------
It was page 68, one page article on the AutoPC.

Trunk Space
---------
I raised the floor 2 inches and have an ultimate 15" grill over the sub. I put groceries, luggage, bikes, etc. in there all the time, no problem. If you notice I have the amps mounted vertically in one corner and the VCR vertically in the other corner. These are also sunken into the false floor.

The cars not done yet, many things to come.

Rez,

It's the Greddy front bumper lip for MY98+. I got it directly from Greddy. I believe it's about $250MSRP. You'll also notice the Greddy shifter with blue GREX cap. I also have the Greddy Oil cap, blue. They have all three things for the Subaru. If you get the oil cap, get the silver. If you get the shift knob, don't put the cap button on if you are going to get a short shifter soon. One it goes in, it won't come out.

That looks sweet man. I'm loving everything about it, including the the shifter. Personally won't be doing anything with the interior anytime soon, but You've given me some nice ideas!!! Nice Work! By the way, do you or does anybody else know where I can get the Greddy Front lip?

Cool

That is ...Sweeet!.
The next you should get is a lowered rear bumper to get rid of the pelican look (big up front -small in the back). Oh yeah and a wide HDTV screen with an auto tracking servo satellite dish, who needs to see the road anyway

hey??!!!
I just look at the addition pics....
The dash area (stereo bezel covers & center air vents) looks a bit different. Are they painted sliver. But then again they look like they're almost clears, as if there able to be lit up at night. Hmmm.. That give me an idea....

BTW: I just did my interior, silver last week. I Should have some pics of it soon.

The dash has an aluminum dash kit. I like it , but most people don't seem to pay it any attention.

I actually do have a rear bumper lip. I haven't had time to go back to the body shop to get it put on though. When I have pics of that I'll put it up. It's the Trial piece from Japan for 93 bumpers, I think. It's the same one on the wide body yellow Impreza.
