Default looking for stock suspension pieces for 2001 RS

Yeah, I'm looking for some stuff from a 1st generation RS. If you have the stock spring/strut assemblies and all the parts that go with them, and you're within an hour or so of Four Oaks, NC...

I'd like to talk to you.

And for the inevitable "where's that?" - this is where:

Eh.. I've got some stock WRX stuff that might fit but be a lil stiffer. Can't remember but I'm thinking the springs fit. ::shrug::

I have a set of struts and springs off of a '99 RS I could sell you pretty cheap (plus shipping).

Oops. Just read the part about 1 hour away... which I am not... :/

Clarification: I'm looking for some parts from the pre-2002 stock RS suspension. I already have springs and struts (but the right rear is blown) and top mounts. I'd like to get the rest of the pieces I need to get them assembled, so that I can remove the whole assembly that I use for autox and replace it with a fully-assembled stock unit. Then, just switch back to the autox assemblies after doing what I need to do with the stock stuff (which would then be stored fully-assembled for next time).

I guess I could explain what's going on here, so I won't sound so secretive...

THSCC is having a rallyx (or several) out on my mom's land. Big, open field, but pretty rough. Don't want to destroy my AGXes, so I'd like to put the stock stuff back on - but I don't want to spend so much time on it. Just want to be able to swap out the whole assembly without taking stuff apart and swapping the parts that I need. If I could get a complete stock setup pretty cheap, I would consider that, too. If I can't find the parts I need, I guess I'll just go ahead and disassemble the autox setup and use the pieces I need from that this time, and be ready next time.

And for the 's that are expected, the reason I didn't announce anything here is that this is my MOM we're talking about, and we have to assure that things go perfectly in order for us to keep playing there. The decision was made to keep the first event "members only" so that the club officers could make sure that everyone was accountable for their actions, and that we'd have no riff-raff show up. Something about the way things went in this forum last time we had planned a rallyx made some folks in THSCC feel "not too good" about inviting the general public to sign up this time...

Later.

I though the rallyx was common knowledge? It's on the calendar on the website.

http://www.thscc.com/general/info/calendar.shtml

I knew it was limited to Tarheel members only at this point as it was more or less on a trial basis but I didn't know it was a secret. Good thing I didn't let loose about it or anything ahead of time.

I didn't say the rallyx was a secret; I just said I didn't want to sound secretive about what I needed the stock stuff for.

I just figured when I said, "rallyx" that somebody would say, "hey, why haven't I heard about this? I wanna go!" because 99% of the folks in this forum don't keep up with the thscc website the way we do. Most people don't know about our events unless a big announcement is made, which I haven't seen.

Later.
