Default My car before and after the tree.

Three Months Ago.

Nasty tree bent my strut.

Good strut/bent strut comparison

Wheel took a good hit too

The car now...I ended up replacing that one bent strut with Tein Super Streets, lol. Not the way I wanted to get coilovers, but I figured I should alteast make the best of the situation.

It was pouring down rain and visibility was almost nonexistant. I was driving around 35-40 mph and then I suddenly saw tree, but it was too late to avoid it. I managed to dodge it with the right side, but the left side hit a big limb. I was just driving too fast for the conditions.

Aren't the TEIN Super Streets supposed to have pretty decent ride quality? Can you give us a review of your coilovers in terms of ride quality. Is it comparable to a set of Eibach springs or am I dreaming that I can get coilovers with decent ride quality?

Lol, guess I didn't make it very clear. Because my one strut was bent and I was wanting to get coilovers anyways, I went ahead and bought the Super Streets. I've only had them on for a few days. As far as ride quality goes, they are definately stiffer than the Tein High tech springs I had on my car, and a world of a difference between the stock setup. The car corners flatter and squats/dives less as well, which I love. They are somewhat noisy but not anything I can't deal with. The coilovers are pretty much everything I expected they would be. The High tech springs and the SS coilovers are the only two setups I've rode in on a WRX, so I can't really make comparison with other springs/coilovers.

-Oh yeah, more on the ride quality...On full hard they are very bouncy, and on broken pavement, it got kind of annoying. The softer settings are less bouncy and pretty comfortable. Atleast I think so, my girlfriend did say something like "I know why you got these. You just wanted to see my boobs bounce when you drive." It's all subjective my friends.

...
i was gonna be like:
'okay, first of all, where do you get ONE coilover?! second, are you crazy for having three stock struts and a coilover?!!!'

i had a feeling i was midunderstanding things...
so, noisy as in, you hear every little bump and rattle, or noisy as in, it makes a swish noise over spped bumps?

Noisy as in swish and rattle over the bigger bumps and dips in the road. Plus, I don't have my back seats back in yet so that makes it sound eighty times worse than it actually is.
