I'm happy with mine. I like the body style the best and it's got plenty of power to get me into trouble.

I just need to paint a few parts.

I'm pretty hard on my car because my cousin lets me drive his STI whenever. Then again we should prove to ourselves that we can resist the human flaw of "never appreciating what we have, and always wanting what we don't have".

I think being able to tune a wrx to near sti performance is more than half the fun. You appreciate every performance part that you put into it slowly.

With a Sti, it's a track car right out of the box. Tuning that thing will probably make it even more of a monster than it already is. Also take in mind the cost of repairs/maintenance as you move up the ladder from rs to wrx to sti... it's exponential ^_^

I'm happy with my TS :-)

But like everybody else, I'd like to give treats to it every once in a while.

speaking of treats for the car... I got a question:

Can waxing too much be bad for your car? If done properly?

You only need to wax once or twice a year, unless you are rich and have lots of time to spend. Waxing too much I guess eventually will eat your paint away, depends on how abrasive the stuff you use is.

I'm happy with my car, although it's a bit porky compared to the MY97 WRX I had imported from Japan into the UK back in 1998.....

Time for more power and better stopping / tires.

Gethin.

I'm happy with my car because it was a good value. Sure I'd love something faster, but like alexs001 says, the 2.5 has plenty of power to get you in trouble.

I'm perfectly happy with what I've got (02 RS). I'm not a real big speed guy, and I'm not worried about racing anyone, or having more horsepower or fancier headlights. I just wanted a car with a good amount of room, that looked hot on the road and kicked ass in the snow.

I'm pretty content with my car.. Wish she had some boost, but I'm ok at the moment. Cept that she's always telling me she wants this and that.

Only thing I'm not happy about is bringing her to a dealer for stuff that I cannot bring anywhere else for.. ie. warranty repair. Just the very thought of it gives me a f0cking headache every single time. And the service department only opens 5 days a week. W-T-F.. Geezus.. ever heard of shift work?

for the most part I am happy with my car (01GC4) I have solved alot of the problems i did not like, mostly the drum brakes
I like the TS because it is very light and is a great platform to make a really fast car, plus I love the GC style the best, the new style is just too big and heavy for me. there is just one major thing left to do , but if I told you ,I would have to kill you ,
sorry top secret

In all honesty, I would have been totally utterly happy with my car...

IF I HADN'T MET ANY OF YOU!!!

As I have met a lot of you cool/crazy people, now I want to mod my car, and will never be truly happy until I've spent all my retirement savings into her (and then some.) Every time I go to a meet, I think to myself, "I could use that/ or a set of (insert aftermarket part here)" or whatever. You guys suck.

Seriously though, I love my car. Lots of Room, Grip and Go!
I just think of how stock I am... and get depressed.

Cheers!

Thumbs up

I'm very happy with my car! I have had zero accidents in her (aside from the usual door-dings, and parking lot bumper rubs , but those don't count as accidents). She runs great, I've got the mods on her that I want. There's plenty of power to get me into trouble, and my car just looks cool!

LaterZ!
Darren!!

i hope i am never content with what i have

if i am content, then why would i do anything to better myself. The reason ppl are inventive is b/c we naturally need to get something better.

Of course my WRX is getting me into all kinds of trouble but that is fine. I always want better treats and performance (handling and power both), that is why we are here. I want to be better and faster than i was yesterday.

Never be satisfied ppl - always be better than u were b4.

Sorry ranting ...

my 2 cents

i use a non-abrasive wax made by mothers at least once a month. i have to because i don't have covered parking and it gets pretty rough very fast being exposed all the time

I'm very happy with mine. I had a list of things I wanted to get on my car and now I can honestly say I'm basically there. However, I got to agree with Rick on this one....I wouldn't be thinking about FI if I didn't meet any of you

Yeah, that's about right.

In my case, my engine sizes seem to be cyclical...

2.2 -> 2.0 -> 1.5 -> 2.5
