Default Another Oil Question

Sorry for another oil change question, but I am new to the game and would like some advice....I am getting ready to change the oil on my '03 WRX. Right now, the car is around 2,300 miles. Is that a good point to change the oil. Also, I think I am going to go synthetic. Any thoughts on that and any reccommendations of brand. Also, is there any other service that should be done around the mileage point that I am at? Thanks for your help..

Until I hit one of the major services, all I usually do is inspect my fluids. 2,300 broken in... Seems like you just changed your oil before not long ago, so why bother until a bit further? But I guess it shouldn't hurt.

Synthetic - Mobil1, Royal Purple, Motul, Castrol synthetic would be my choices.

Do not use synthetic so soon, the rings will not seat.

It won't hurt to change it. Might not be necessary though...

You can change it at 3,750 like the manual says, and yes you can switch to synthetic. It's not too soon.
