Default Will a 04 STI TMIC directly bolt on to a MY02 WRX?

this would be without any special hoses, etc.

Open the hood of your WRX, see to the passenger side of the Intercooler there is an extra bolt hole in the mounting bracket? That hole is where the STI intercooler attaches because of it's extra length.

I don't want to start trouble but I'm pretty sure the USDM STi does not bolt up directly to the WRX, only the JDM does. I think you need some sort of extra bracket. Do asearch, I'm pretty sure someone had a big post on this just 2 weeks ago.

Ahhh, here it is....

does not, speaking out of first hand experience. just get the JDM, or another aftermarket IC.

The other issue being the tubing not fitting correct IIRC? Either way, the v8 (as was stated) is NOT "simply a bolt on affair" like the v7.

I have an sti I/C in my 03WRX, fits just fine. No mod needed.
just bend the I/C bracket on the passenger side down a bit.
