Hi everyone im new to the board here. I'm really considering buying a impreza-rs and I was wondering if anyone can give me any helpful tips. What are common problems with this car and any other useful information. Thanks for the help.

If you are comparing the RS to other cars in the price range... The RS is defenitely the way to go. I haven't had any problems with mine, and some may say it's "underpowered", but you know what? compared to most cars on the road, this thing flies. If money is no object, however, you could probably find something you like better...

Cool

I agree the RS has plenty of power out of the box. The only complaints I have are the too light gas pedal and an on/off clutch that conspire to make smooth shifting challenging. And the brake pedal is too mushy - a product I'm told of the dual booster brake system. They work fine, but the pedal has too much free play.

Other than those nitpicks, this is one great car that I wouldn't trade for anything else!
