Off the line, you can seriously embarass some pretty fast cars.
I took a 00 Trans Am WS6 with slicks off the line. Me getting a 2.03 60' to his 2.06 60ft. He ended up with a 13.1 though, lol. Sure did surprise the hell out of him.

I got 2001 Impreza 2.5RS w/ NO Mods. I have never had an issue pinning the needle to the bottem. If You mash the pedal in 5th gear at 5K and you feel the car pull, there is still power there, and you watch the needle move on threw the non #'ed section of the speedo...till it hits the rev limiter in 5th gear. Sure looks and feels like 135MPH to me.

Don't trust your speedo - mine is about 9-10% off, so it shows 200km/h for 180km/h real speed (checked with GPS and re-checked with a stopwatch over 1 kilometer).

So, if you want to know how fast your car *really* is, get a GPS.
D.

PS: I'm not saying that ALL speedometers are as much off as mine is - in fact, my brothers Kia has a very accurate speedo.

What is Opie doing on this thread? Hehe for that matter what am I doing here?

Hey Opie thanks for not including the A/F on the dyno run... (Mine not the above)

RS's ar cool though guys, they must be a whole different beast to drive than my WRX, I pretty much need to live above 4k to really cook. Under 2700rpm I have nothing... After that watch out...
