Default Who's got the best deal for a 2004 WRX in Jersey?

I am curious to know what the cheapest price a 2004 WRX was ever offered to someone here in new jersey. It's just that I've read people talk about buyign their 2004 WRX for 23-24K witrh the premium package. I am just thinking that it's possibly because they're not here in the Northeast.

What do you guys say?

Not sure about prices for 04 but check out Flemington Subaru. They are the best around here for sure.

I've gotten tons of quotes, but haven't cashed in because noone has my color in stock. This month being quoted 100-200 under invoice (premium package+ton of options) because there is a 500 dealer rebate.

Bluestone,

care to share which dealer and a name that you were dealing with? Thats a good deal. What color are you having trouble finding?

I spoke with Morristown last week when they had that car, and called again yesterday to find out it was sold... I'm looking for a white one (see my post)

Was straight out quoted 100 under invoice by Becker (Ken) and Town Motors (Dwight Senior). World (Marty), Morristown (Segundo), Flemington (Alex), and Liberty were willing to go to invoice when you mention that other dealers will see at invoice. Those are some of the only dealers I would consider. Here are some others I haven't gotten quotes from but checked their stock: A&T, Concordville, Roberts, Rafferty, Nitti, Bill Kolb. They might have to dealer-swap or place an order if they don't have one configured the way you want on the lot (not very willing to add/delete options at that price).

If you're willing to travel and take something from off their lot, chceck fitzmall.com and stohlmanauto.com, they are hundreds below invoice.

Fitzmall.com and stohlmanauto.com? Hmm I just checked it out and yes their prices are way below invoice! Are they for real? Why so low? Is it because I have to drive all the way there just to get the car?

Anyone ever use them before?

they are large-volume dealers... i've heard ok reviews on Fitz, nothing on stohlman but there is a member here who used to post solicitations in mid-atlantic forum. only way i can think they go so low is the dealer rebate and dipping into the holdback. I emailed a rep at Fitz and they are pleasant as well as full disclosure (told me the current financing and the dealer cashback info which I couldn't find anywhere else), I would probably buy there if I could find one configured the way I wanted.

Bluestone,

I called them up a lil earlier and the guy asked me if you knew "the other guy from New Jersey who was looking for a white WRX." hehehe I told him yup!

Anyway, I talked to Brian and he seems pleasant. I checked their inventory and found 2 cars. A red and a silver which are fine. I calculated the price and they are about 800 below invoice. Thats a great deal.

Hmm.. sounds good to me though... I would prefer a local dealership but saving $800 is worth is for driving about 3 hours. What ya think?

I assume you're talking about Fitzgerald... they seem like a dealer pretty on top of things so if you are ok with what they have in stock go for it. I have friends in the area so I would probably get one of them to look over the car first. The only thing keeping me from doing that is I am pretty set on white and I want to make sure the car has less than 20 miles on it. I sent them an email to see what the price would be if I ordered. If they can't do a similar price, I'm going to order at Flemington for invoice and consider the couple hundred bucks the cost of being picky.

My parents are looking to get a new toyota or hyundai, so i might end up checking out Fitzgerald for one of those too.

hoon, you decide on going down there yet? i emailed an offer to alex at flemington subaru and he agreed so i went over friday evening to place the order. great guy, no bs and let me know exactly what to expect. it was a good price, not absolute rock bottom but i'm glad to be supporting my local smaller dealership.

i hope hope hope that he'll be able to get one allocated to another dealer from the boatload that just came in this weekend. if not, it'll be 4 weeks til the next shipment.

Bluestone,

I was VERY close to going to Fitzgerald on Saturday. Let me back track a bit. I called a salesman from Fitzmall.com on Friday and I asked him if the Delivery Internet price included the registration, Documents fees, etc... and he said yes. I guess he was still new coz when I called back Saturday before leaving and confirming with the manager, I found out it was incorrect. So basically I had to pay the Internet Price + tax + Registration and Document fees. Well, that kinda put me off because I was thinking that I can get a deal that was close to what they were offering locally. So the short story was that I didn't go. I ended up going to another dealership that everyone seems to recommend which was World Subaru. I called Marty Garland who was quite helpful. I flat out told him my best price was and he tried to beat the Fitzgerald offer but I knew that it could not be done. I just wanted them to be as close as possible.

Anyway, I paid for my WRX for 400 below invoice. So its not that bad. Oh, thew silver I wanted wasn't there but I ended up getting a White. I hope it's not the White you're looking for. Anyway, I'm very happy and pleased to now own my own WRX. =)

Good luck with your search! =)
