Default bouncy steering problem

my moms '03 outback got in a wreck and had a fair amount of front end damage like broken axel's and struts and such... and she just got it back and when you go over bumps the steering wheel itself bounces up and makes noise it didnt used to... what should i do? should we take it back to the shop and have them look at it? does anyone have this problem?

Definitely sounds like they got it wrong, and correct steering is a safety issue. Make them do it right, or take them to court.

My 98 has been in the body shop twice, and neither place did a very good job.
