Exclamation Let me know what you think

So I was at work the other day thinkin, "turbo, for my car". Then i thought about money. Then I thought that maybe an entire new engine would be easier. So i got online checked out some sites and found that I could get an EJ20TT (2.0 litre twin Turbo) or an EJ25T (2.5 litre turbo).

Both of these engines are a lot more powerful than my EJ22, and I'm not really concerned with which is going to give me more power becuase that is obvious but what I'm concerend about is which is going to be "better" in every aspect of the word.

I also plan on getting a new tranny for the car too since I know that the stock tranny couldn't even dream about handeling the power from either of those engines.

Anyone have anything to say about my choices?

the ej20TT is most likely a RHD and you will have issues clearing the steering components with the TT.

I say go for the ej25T.

i second the EJ25T, like maciek said it is gonna be from a RHD vehicle and to get it to fit you have to eliminate one of the turbos anyways, so i say go for the EJ25T.

I say have a shop do a 02+ US WRX engine swap. Its been done and documented, totally street legal, easy to source parts and nothing custom (besides wiring and coolant hoses) is needed.

You could take it to a shop that understood subarus and they would be able to repair it, sourcing parts from the dealer. The car would be smog legal and could easily be sold to someone in any state.

Oh and the most important part. All the tuning and aftermarket parts that the HORDES of WRX owners get will be applicable.
