Question Lowering STi seats?

Just put a set of JDM Version 7 seats into my car...love them, but I'm a good 6 inches higher then I was before. How can I lower the seat without damaging the structureal integrity. If I got custom brackets...which it sounds like I will have to, how much would those cost? Thanks.

Try bolting the STi seats to your stock brackets and then putting the frankenseats in the car. I did a similar thing by using RS seats on L model brackets and I'm just about on the floor compared to the stock RS brackets.

Hope this helps a bit.

ummm, they seats bolt and sit at about the same height, you are prolly 1" higher due to the seat no longer sagging in the butt. if you have a problem with them might want to try to get ahold of the EDM LHD Version 4/5/6 seats
