tranny stuck in 3rd?

hey i just installed my trans, and it seems to be stuck in 3rd? is that because my shifter is installed wrong?

when it was outa the car, it would click up and down in 3 positions, now it dosnt want to move....

btw its a JDM 94 WRX 4.11 box, i did the FWd-->AWD swap, swapped in the 93 L FWD neutral / reverse indicators (could that be the case) clutch is exedy WRX GDA, motor is 98 DOHC 2.5

anyone share their thoughts?

what are the 93 reverse & neutral indicators? are the mechanical devices? or electric switches?

i have a tranny that does'nt want to shift, but its problems are synchro & wear related. i'm hoping this is'nt the case w/ yours.

hey- my trans is fine, i checked another trans outa the car and it feels the same on the linkage, im guessing that i installed the shift linkage wrong or too tite or somthing. neutral and revers are just switches
