Thumbs up Invidia catback exhaust

My friend and I installed my Invidia catback yesterday and i couldn't be more happy. The looks and welds of the exhaust are top notch and the sound is awesome! Its not loud at all, has a nice deep rumble and is definitely noticable but doesn't drone or sound obnoxious at all. The install was very easy and everything fit perfect....it gets a big 2 thumbs up!

i also have pics and sound clips if anyone is interested....

Thumbs up

Sound clips, pictures, please!!! Any noticeable power gain or throttle response? The Invidia is one of me favorite exhausts and I'm seriously considering it for my car. The other is the COBB catback. For the longest time I've been looking for the Turbo magazine or SCC that tested a bunch of catbacks, including the Invidia and COBB, but I can't seem to find it. Am I dreaming?

Default sound clips please

I am trying to decide on exhaust right now. A sound clip is always nice. Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up Invidia Quiet Catback

first of all i want to say my bad for saying what i said about
invidia downpipe before. it was my hayame catback causing me the problem with a nasty leak.

i just got my catback today, didnt waste no time and install it
there is a lift at job so the install was like 20min tops.
man i fire that thing up and fell in love right away
this is what i was looking for no more having to put a silencer
to ride around town or to work is just "rite".

the only problem i have is that is well tuck under the car so
my stock hangers move too much and it hits the differentiall
when hitting bumps also the muffler part looks like it will hit the heatshield but i guess kartboy hangers will fix that .

if you are looking for something louder than stock on a 3" pipe size with a deep tone this it.

p.s no more ticket fear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angry Rgg, anyone else have invidia probs??

Referring to the catback>

Well I got my invidia catback back in late sept/early oct and couldn't have been happier. Well for the past week I got a leaking/buzzing sound under the car so I thought it might be a leak. By Friday I finally got around to buying some gasket sealant and as i begin removing the front catback section I notice something...the exhaust is much looser than it should be. Low and behold I look down the pipe and I see that the whole first hanger had decomposed from the exhaust, leaving a huuge hole for air to fly out of. And I mean...the exhaust was just free with no part of the hanger remaining on it. While inspecting it I notied that it actually decomposed outside of the welds, it wasnt the actual welding job that was at fault. How could it decompose, its not like I'm in a salt filled city (Plano, TX). Aggrivated more than ever I called Vivid about the situation and Ryan said he would get a hold of Invidia and to call back today (Monday) to see what warranty issues I can get out of this. I'm waiting for him to call back but man, that's just not supposed to happen. I love the Invidia exhaust and everything, it looks like it was put together well but decomposing??...I dunno what to think. I may be able to take some pics later of the hole but I don't have the camera on me at the moment. Let me know if anyone else had Invidia problems.

Good thing you didnt try there headers! They hit the motor mount and the uppipe was 1/2 in. off from mounting to the brackets to the head. There cus. sucks as they would not even speak to me. Plus they screwed the vendor on the refund!

Ahh thats starting to piss me off. Of course Rob (Vivid) didn't pick up yesterday and when I managed to talk to him today he told me how he couldn't get a hold of them (Invidia). If this doesnt go through I'm going to be extremely angry. Thanks for letting me know tho as I will not be purchasing their header system.
