Default New Legacy Owner

I sold my WRX 6 months ago, and have been without a Subaru since... Until today that is.

I've purchased the Subaru I've always wanted, a white 2000 Legacy GT Limited Sedan with a Manual transmission, and only 26k miles.

I can't believe how long it took me to find one without an Auto...

Just wanted to say 'Hello' as I've been lurking this forum for awhile now... and now I'm finally a fellow legacy owner.

I have seen a guy with an 00 GT Limited 5-spd hauling a$$ around town, and just the other day, I got a chance to talk to him. He has intake and exhaust, underdrive and clutch. He's got plans for a chip I believe too...

He doesn't have a computer, so he's not on the boards, but he loves his car! He also stated finding a GT Limited with a manual is EXTREMELY difficult...

Just thought I'd add to the discussion

It was a tough decision, I loved my WRX, but the Legacy GT is absolutely beautiful in comparison. I was also looking for more refinement in the interior and just an over all more mature car. I think the legacy GT is it.

And now after driving the two, I'm loving the low end ability of the 2.5 liter as opposed to the 2.0

All in all I think I made a great decision.

W3rd..

the BE's are beautiful cars. Ever since I debaged mine and switched to JDM tails/grille, not many people can identify it so I get many people asking me what it is.
