Default Why must all my attempts at masonry fail?

Have you ever gotten to the point where you just don't give a crap about what you do for a living because

a) You're burnt out and have absolutely no interest in the career you've invested in, but unfortunately you have no other marketable skills to remain at the level of living you need, so you feel trapped in limbo

b) At work, your input generally isn't needed anymore

c) You've stopped making any progress in your career because you're stuck doing menial tasks

d) You have become so bitter and disillusioned with the people you work with/for that watching Office Space makes you hate your job even more the next day

e) You post a serious question in OT

Well we're buying up rental properties as fast as we can, that's for our future. But in the mean time I keep plugging along just collecting paychecks to pay for those investments. Still, I'd rather be doing something completely different to earn the bread. Problem is, I got no talent outside of software, and even that is starting dry up cuz the place I work in like like 3-5 years behind everyone else in its use of technology.

Damn job market still sucks else I would've already quit.
