Post Hello again!

Hi all!

Been away from the site for the past couple of months because of business trips, Kendo competitions, and others but finally, I have a chance to post again!

I had my reservations about the WRX (mainly it's "unique" styling) but I think the technical aspects of the machine make up for it. I think this will push the sedan (in terms of performance) out of the range of the Celica, Civic, and others and into BMW 3-series (not M) and Audi A4 land.

Alex, the new site looks really good!! We even have cool things we can do and.. what's this.. Smiley face legend at the touch of a button! This is what every Subie board needs.

Now I have a dillemma.. I want a new car again probably in two or three years. What to do.. RX-8? New Z (drool)? New Skyline? I think the Skyline would be priced out of my range. I think the RX-8 in terms of power would be like an S2000. Probably the new Z or the WRX? (face-lift? please??? facce-lift??)

But for now, I am VERY pleased with the MY2000 RS that I have. 12k on it and NO drivetrain or engine problems. Some small interior rattles here and there, but when you are used to 1971 240Z, and Mustangs, this is NOTHING! The RE92s are holding up (amazing) and the only thing I had to do are routine oil changes.

Notice to everybody that didn't hear.. Subaru sent a recall notice to me saying that the A/F sensor might need to be replaced. This is that characteristic "check Engine" light that people were complaining about a couple of months before I went AWOL from the site. Unfortunately, I might have to get the thing replace becasue of Cali's strict emmissions laws(big joke).

Anyways, nice to see everything is still working.. Rock on guys..

Tim
