Cool Laid off twice from the same job in 9 months

Damn I'm good. Now to see if I can get them to retract the layoff notice like they did last time.

Plus I get to look for a new job on company time again. Thats always fun

Not to mention the realignment of priorities, e.g. "lessee...VF34 and FMIC...or neon shift knob"

Yup. This time they retracted it 2 weeks and a day before my last day. Last time it was only a week before my last day. If I had been smart I would have taken the job offer I had last time to do work on for Future Combat Systems. If I get a good offer elsewhere I'm probably going to leave this job (even though I really like it) but at least now I have some security while I search for something new.

What job do you have there? Maybe I will see you. Although I am at the Everett Plant.

Satellite communications actually. But I use a computer to run simulations. 24 processors and 96 gigs of RAM But I only get to play with that through X-terminal software and I have to share it.
