Post Got some new pics of my car (big)...

Some people asked to see my exhaust tip, I got pics of it and of my stereo. I can resize the pics for dial-uppers if needed.

Actually, I was thinking of getting some 15s, because they play lower.

Slayer, what kind of RS do you have? Where do you live? There are actually quite a few RS' in A2, I've seen four that aren't on the member list.

Because they play LOWER??? Unless you're listening to "Ultimate Bass 5000" or someting like that, a high quality 12" sounds much better. But if you're wanting to just rattle your car apart, find an 18"!! joking

i gotta go with RacerinLSL on this one.

A couple of nice 12's in a properly tuned box, will kick the crap out of 15's. In every way but X-Max. For the most part, 12's will have a better responce time, tighter feel. And overall more punch then a 15. 15's just sound muddy to me, and very slow.

Just my oppinion though. Theres really no such thing as perfect sound. Because no two peopels ears are alike.

Jeez, I said THINKING didn't I? As a matter a fact I do enjoy listening to bass tracks. I really just want to feel more bass. I'm reserving my judgement on whether to get 15s or not until I get a bigger amp and finish soundproofing.

"15's just sound muddy to me, and very slow."

Hrm. The _ONLY_ 15's that sounded muddy or slow that I've ever heard were in crappy installs. Although-slow is a personal thing-I like the sounds of 10's, but that's because I like techno. Midbass makes up the "punchyness" that was mentioned.

JC,

i drive a 94 ranger 4x4 for now...
2"lift, 31x12.5's on 10" rims.
gotta 15" solobaric on 600watts too..

i'm looking to get a used RS sedan very soon, i just can't find one the way i want it. as for subies in A2, i've seen 1 2.5 coupe running around.
but last summer i saw a WRX coupe, it had all the stickers on it anyway, and some asian guys were in it, they looked like test guys from the subie research center to me, i tried to follow them but i lost em'
