Default Replacement pedals

Hey everyone,

After three years of owning my '00 2.5RS (one year of improperly applying the clutch; don't ask), I've worn out the little rubber pedal/pad on the clutch.

Since I have to replace them (for saftey reasons) I thought I should get nice ones. Not necessarily the STi metal ones with pink rubber bits, but the WRX ones with the black would be fine. And I would probably get the dead pedal too, unless it's too expensive.

Just wondering if anyone had a good place to get/install the pedals while getting regular servicing. People around here seem to indicate Specialty Subaru but I usually visit Don Docksteader on Cambie. The idea of installing myself had also crossed my mind. Any thoughts?

Also if you know the approximate cost that would help too.

Improperly applying the clutch, eh? Did you happen to have big floor mats that did not allow you to push the clutch all the way down?

Hey! I thought I told you not to ask!!!

Actually I know I was applying the clutch all the way in, it was just the technique I was using. I was planting my heel (sort of like the gas pedal) and not lifting my entire leg (if that makes any sense). I know better now.

Total autosports has a set of OMP pedals that are pretty sweet,
no pink bits on them , not sure about price or a dead pedal
hope this helps

The stock WRX pedals fit the GC8. You buy the pedals from the dealer. They take about 30 minutes to install. The clutch and brake slip on easily (if you use the technique for fitting window glass). The accelerator pedal you unbolt to remove and install the pin.
