Lightbulb Autometer Elec. oil pressure gauge sending unit tap instructions

here it is tmat3, sorry for the delay.

now i used the retapping method and did not buy new fittings, remember to use TEFLON TAPE.

the hardest part of this is removing the alternator to get at the location, i believe that NorthUrsalia has the directions on removing the alternator on his website.

you can find a tap and most of the fittings including the T fitting at any plumbing store, and they will tell you how to use the tap if you ask (which is: insert, tighten by hand, then start the tap/thread with a wrench. NOT WITH A DRILL LIKE A DRILL BIT).

oh, and you don't need all those expensive AN fittings and hose. go to your local autoparts store and find a little kit for this particular application for a couple of bucks

good luck,

justin
