Default What color do you want your Legacy to be?

Trying to give a little feedback to Subaru here with colors (we all know about those wierd shades of yellow, odd metallic flakes on Legacy's and others), I'd like to know what everyone is looking at. I'm going to throw up a list of likely colors, throw a vote down, we always get biased answers from the same general crown, maybe a survey will open it up a little.

Charcoal Grey or 86F.

Not just for the legacy line either.

Good thing you can only vote once or I would skew this sucker to Gunmetal. Oh wait, it already is.

My first choice is blue, second is white. Blue/white Subaru with gold wheels is totally sweet

I'll take:

1.Gunmetal
2.Dark Blue like this:

or Atlantic Blue like this:

Of course, in sedan form... I'd take Atlantic first being that my RS has similar (if not the same) as the Dark Blue. But it's beautiful none the less, that's why I have my RS that color

If Gunmetal becomes too popular then I'll take Atlantic (if they bring it )

All these stupid "If's", if this, if that....

Oh, BTW, gunmetal for me. I just chose the most common colors that are likely to look good on that model. I really like the gunmetal/charcoal grey (whatever it's called) that VW uses on the Bug and Jetta, seen both lately with that color and I was getting all hot just looking at the color. Put that on a Legacy and I've got lust!

I voted for Silver Metallic, but honestly I would take black, silver, charcoal grey/gunmetal, or dark blue and be a happy man.

Yep. And the wish list for G35 colors would be Daytona Blue from the 350Z would look killer.

As far as dark gray, just about any car has a decent example. I just saw a way cool IS300 up in Tampa in dark gray w/ tinted windows that was sweet (we don't get many of them down here so it was a treat). Infiniti, Porsche, BMW, Acura, friggin Hyundai even.

Lol. The "ifs" are all we have.

I agree with 1 & 2, and I'd like a GLOSS BLACK for #3

With a BLACK interior option (like Honda/Acura has) and silver or gunmetal rims.

Mmmm tas-TEE....

..........IF it ever shows up....

Default atlantic

Wow! That atlantic blue really looks different in the daylight, quite a bit darker (although the day seems overcast). I'll have to see that color in person before deciding for sure... Of the colors on the poll, I think I like grey the best, with the dark blue as my second choice.

OTOH, if gold wheels are an option, white would definitely also be on my short list.

That Atlantic Blue really does look good. Well, too late to add to list, but definitely a good color and there is interest shown here.

Gold, orange, whatever that color is is horrible! I don't understand why all sorts of barf-tones are being used these days. Some sort of throwback to all of the crap colors of the 70s seems like.

OK, I've got to admit that the Atlantic is looking better. Not as light of a blue as I was making it out to be. What is strange is that I can only recall Atlantic blue on wagons, not sedans. Black looks great, but I'll be smart this time and not get a black car. Without a dark grey, I will have to wait and see them in person. Repainting a car would be just too expensive.

I had chosen the gunmetal, but I'm liking the Atlantic Blue better. That is one sweet colour, especially in the Wagon.

I'm also swaying. Only problem now, I want to see it in person. Oh great, gonna be middle of next year before I see my very own ordered car.

That Atlantic Blue is pretty elegant.

I found a picture of a sedan in Atlantic from the Legacy Details thread. Looks good.

I'm writing up a request in the official photoshop thread to see what the S401 grey will look like. Since I'm very doubtful that we'll get the Spec B front or 18" wheels, I'll stick with a regular GT.

Nice pic of the mirrors. That's pretty cool. I'm thinking that if there is no dark grey, that Atlantic would be pretty nice. It just like caribbean water changing from light blue to light green. Very slick.

Middle of next year IF we're lucky.

Edmunds says...

Available: Fall 2004

which is nearly the end of next year...for a car that went to the world in May...

But yeah, that blue is very nice.

So go get it...that will be one less "other" graphite out there.
