#7. Absolutely no "elite" style (***, @@@, iMpReZa) or all caps writing is allowed anywhere on the message board and especially in the subject lines.

And there is a WRX forum ...

(Faraz ...knowing Imprezer is gonna be ALL OVER this one)

Please don't say that's vinyl covering the headlights!!! & what's with the cheesy yellow WRX on the back?

I know this will piss a lot of people off, but I think that car's pretty ricey.

yup with the crappy light covers and "WRX" in the grile I've have to agree. The chinsy yellow WRX on the back don't help either, and is that car bling blinging on Dubs? When that car rolls off the truck it plays "Everybody get your Roll on"

Yeah, i think this is preaty poor.

Vinyl covered headlights, 18" wheels, stock brakes, and as far as i can tell, stock suspension, along with that gap under the bottom "element" of the rear wing...id say this is your a-typical rice rocket.

Looks they just couldent leave the WRX alone...*sigh*. What a waste.

Faraz,
My apologies for the charactor typing. I have not been on the board that much lately. I was only aware of no all caps topics. Alex, sorry dude !!

These pics were not previously posted because this car was just put together for the Toronto Auto Show. These are only the prototype pics before it went to the show. Since then, We put the Sti HID lights on it. We just wanted to see how the car would look with different headlight designs, hence the black vynl.

Rich

P.S. This is Pat Richard's new car for 2001, minus the roof scoop and the rear wing. It will get the factory "blade" wing. Pat will be running PGT. The car has to stick with stock brakes for that class. And the car does have DSM suspension. I think your eye sight is a little off...

I like the styling of the headlight covers. A different material, and painted body color, and I'd definitely prefer it over the others I've seen.

Ver III, no problem, I will edit the topic name to make it look human, hehe.

So you got HID's? How do they work here? Are they alligned good or does the US driver's side aimed too high? Can you re-aim them? Please, tell us more about the HID's.

All I know so far that the HID's are pretty dam expensive. they were put on the car before the unveiling. Plus, the blue trim between the light and grill is also the Sti version where they have a vent look simular to the WRC car. I have not powered up the HID's yet to see how far they are off on a LHD model. We get the car back next weekend, I can tell you more then. I'm working on getting the parts book for the Japanese model also so I can have the part # for stuff like the HID's. And perhaps I can source out cheaper prices for them, if they work out okay in terms of alignment.

Awesome PAT...

It looks way nicer than it did on the "spit roast"

Now... the leading question is does it have a "Dog Box" ?

Oh and no tank slapping allowed in this "Blue Car"

- The WRX logo was airbrushed on the rad.
- The rims were Japanese universal aftermarket. We paid originally $300Cdn each. The tires are Pirelli RS71, dries, meduim compound,18" , which are the same used by SWRT on tarmac events.

- No dog box yet. We are running PGT this year, so rules do not allow it. We are running Grp N perhaps in 2002.

Definitely a show car. Those wheels are ghetto.

I am looking forward to seeing it in PGT trim, with some raceline wheels and the roof vent!
