Unhappy Pics of my snow scooby crash

Got the film developed, so click here to see the three whopping pictures taken of my crash. The rest of the time was spent digging the car out. The whole text is there, too, of what happened.

ive only done it once...and it was on a car i knew VERY well (BMW Z3) but the look is undeniably unforgetable.

Incredibly, there was not a scratch on the car. Of course, it's not like I was going very fast, and what's 3 feet of powder going to do to a car?

Except make it's owner feel REALLY stupid?

HA! I love it. The goofy smile on your face where your digging out your 3,000 lb car with your gloves is great. My wife would have looked at me, clamed down, smiled and then strangled me.

Yeah, snow is great. For learning lessons!

The crash happened Saturday, and afterwards, I was feeling a little shaken up, so we went back home. Sunday we went back up again, this time playing it safe. Then we got stuck in major traffic (someone did a head-on) so just stayed the night in Tahoe. Nice day off!

Yeah, notice I started out digging by hand! Then, I used the box my tire cables were in (too bad I hadn't bothered to use the cables!) when finally the guy in the OBS stopped with the shovel. The other pics are with the shovel I bought the next day! Heh!

Oh, and the wife thought I was doing it on purpose... at least until I went off the side of the road. What confidence in my driving skills! I love my wife!

You should have just tied a rope up to that horse that happened to walk by and had him pull you out And that's a puppy, huh? I think you need a WRX wagon to haul him around when he gets bigger! Glad the only thing hurt was your ego.

McCavity> I assume the dog made it thru the ditching? That's the nice thing about driving with pets, they don't know you screwed up.

Don't feel so bad, I did the same thing when I was 16 but I ended up whipping the back end of my truck all the way around (180 degrees) and smashed into the curb. Bent the axle and ruined the brakes on the driver's side. Whoops.
