Default SVX Suspension Project

I am in the final stages of building a number of SVX suspension kits.

I will post more information here as I get closer to shipping time, this kit will be a bolt-in affair.

Specs are as follows:

Koni Sport adjustable strut inserts, installed in stock housings
Eibach Linear Race Springs, 380#front/350#rear
Ground Control height adjustment collar system
Camber adjustable spherical bearing top mount plates

This kit is currently running on my own vehicle (and has for the last 10,000 miles) and has performed flawlessly. Highway ride is smooth and very livable, I commute in the car every day. Nose dive and lift on decel/accel is almost totally eliminated, as is most body roll. Turn-in is significantly improved, and in general the kit transforms the SVX into the poised sports car that its looks suggest.

If anyone is interested, please drop me an email.

Thanks!

I saw this on the SVX Forums... but never is there a price listed.

I'm hopefully picking up a SVX locally this week & I will want to replace at least the struts. I was going to go with the OEM units @ $90 each they aren't that bad, but I'd always consider something else.

Keep me posted on the info about this. I'm omahasubaru on the subaru-SVX.net forums as well.

I'm waiting on the top plates. That's the last piece and I can ship the kits. We're shooting for a target of $1400 with the spherical bearing upper mounts.

Koni inserts for the SVX are $629, the Ground Control kit is $399, and the top plates are not yet available separately but will be assuming that the supplier comes through.

The $1400 kit is assembled and ready to bolt up to the car, i.e. the Koni inserts are already installed in the stock strut housing and the kit is a true bolt-in affair.

Cool!

I did pick up the car Wed. after work. Loving it so far, needs a few things & some TLC, but it's sweet!

Looks like that suspension might be out of my price range... I might consider the Koni's, but I may just pick up the OE struts. They're only about $90 a corner.

Thanks - Jon
