jdm sti and spec c parts: springs and strut bar

if anyone out there is interested in getting real spec c parts from a dealer in japan let me know..... i will be in japan untill the middle of october so if your interested let me know before then (asap is better i dont know how long it will take to get the parts after i order them) right now ive only looked into the spec c springs and strut bars though i could prob get anything else you want also

too expensive!!!!! not sure why subaru is charging such high prices.... mabey i was misquoted???

for anyone interested i have found out the following info from the subaru dealerships here in japan. though i will be unsure about the final price untill i actually buy the item because most of the prices i was given may not include things like mounting brackets, nuts, bolts, ect. in which i believe subaru makes you buy with the item.

factory spec sti strut bar:: between abo $450
carbon fiber strut bar:: same as above
aluminum strut bar:: abo $350... though perhaps less
rear aluminum strut bar:: abo $300 though perhaps less
genome strut bar (a company that works with subaru and sells their parts through subaru)abo $300
sti spec c springs front:: abo $250
sti spec c springs rear:: abo $250
genome exhaust:: abo $1000
genome gauge pod (oil pressure, oil temp and boost gauge):: abo $1400

if there is anything else anyone wants me to look up please let me know.

Some of those prices are higher than what you could get them shipped to the States for.....

i agree.. i checked the prices online and i thought there was something wrong... but thats abo the prices.... i dont know why they are so high.... i went back and asked the dealership again.... not sure what the deal is... i assume its cause its from the delaership... i mean granted i was tryin to make like $50 here or there... but still.... i wish i had a scanner to post the catalog that they gave me......

oh well for subaru... no business here

and actually the genome stuff was from an old catalog.... i checked again in the new catalog and they were cheaper.... abo $200 cheaper... but still high if you ask me
