Default Lug Stud Replacement

Hey all, I have a question. I was taking off my wheels a few days ago and one of the lugs must have been put on cross threaded (by Discount tire when I got my new tires) and when I went to take it off it completely stripped the lug stud. So I've priced the studs from the dealer at $6.50 or so. Has anyone here replaced them, I really don't want to drop $80 for a tire shop to do them. I just need to replace 2 of them and they are on the driver side rear. I know you have to take off the brake and the rotor but outside of that I'm not sure since I have never had to do this on any car. Any advice/tips appreciated.

Thanks

well, I had the same problem a while back. I just went to a tire shop and had them replace the studs. Took about 20--30 mins for them to put in a few new studs. Cost about $25/side. Shop around, I don't know if you have the space and tools to do this but I sure don't. It was just easier for me to have it done.
