Post Check out these wheel pictures/Help with Photoshop please

I'm going to order some 15x7" Raceline RL-7s, hopefully early this coming week, to use for auto-x/open track events. I'm debating getting either white, gold, or anthracite. I initially was thinking anthracite as my first choice, then white, then gold. Then I started thinking white would look pretty sweet. My brother says anthracite first, then gold, white last. Now that I've seen some test pictures (see links below) I'm thinking gold would actually look pretty sweet.

Anyway, Boomer, who hangs out a lot on the New England Forum, was kind enough to make a couple test pictures using Photoshop (take a look at http://208.9.184.110/MembersList/Vie...28&PicNumber=4 and http://208.9.184.110/MembersList/Vie...28&PicNumber=5 from the Member's section.

He used picture http://208.9.184.110/MembersList/Vie...28&PicNumber=1 , plus some pictures of the wheels taken from Raceline's webpage ( http://www.silverline-raceline.co.uk/products/index.htm ). The pics Boomer made came out pretty well, but even he admitted that he's not the best at manipulating Photoshop. Would anyone else care to graft the RL-7s onto my car in Photoshop? The best starting point may be http://208.9.184.110/MembersList/Vie...28&PicNumber=2 , as that is the broadest shot of the car, plus that's the only picture with 15" rims on the car. Oh, and if you could create some anthracite RL-7s to test out, that would be pretty sweet too.

Thanks...

I think the gold looks really great with the dark green.

ok, this is a bit off but...If these are going to be your track wheels/tires then why do you care what it looks like. It's not like color makes you go faster.

And just to be somewhat productive...I'd say gold looks best. Maybe it's just the pic, but white just doesn't look right. Anthracite would also look nice, but being a dark color it might not "stand out" from the dark green

Actually, Strepto, it's a proven fact that colored wheels are responsible for faster lap times - that's why all the BTCC guys run colored rims.

I just want something that kinda stands out. My initial thought was that anthracite would look cool, but I think you're right - they'd be too dark, especially with a dark colored car. Maybe on a silver or white car, but on the dark green I'm not sure it would look all that great.

I think I'm gonna go for white. I'll probably just flip a coin and decide that way.

It looks good with the gold rims, but don't know how they would look on my SilverThorn.
