Just as the title says. I'm going a different route for summer wheels, so the BBSs need a new home. I can take pictures if you'd like, but they look just like every other Gold BBS STi rim you've seen. Absolutely perfect....the little factory balancing marks aren't even completely off. Car is 2 months old.......
Asking 1600 + shipping...PM or email if interested. www.clonegts.com clone@clonegts.com

Thanks to everyone that has replied....I received a lot more interest than I thought there would be. I can't just pick one person to give these to at that price with all the interest, so start making offers. Starting at 1600 + shipping.
A few replies to PMs and emails. Char - looks like shipping would be around $120 Miles - they have been on my 15-minute commute to work for about 2000 miles. They look just broken in. No roll overs, no racing yet.....as close to brand new as you'll get. I'll ship UPS unless you have a preference. From past experience, it really doesn't matter where it's going, you're looking at around $30 for a 40-lb 22x22x20 box. You can estimate your own shipping on ups.com. Thanks, Rob |

You are raising the price because too many people were interested? |

No...it's called free enterprise.....supply and demand. I'm not going to try and rip people by asking for $2500 for the set, but if I get 10+ interested people at $1600, I'm going to see what the market really is for them.
You telling me you'd just close your eyes, point to one email and sell off your rims for less than the 'market price'? |

What?
You are selling something....You list the price and because several people show interest, you decide to up the price? Thank God the Vendors on this Site DON't do that.... I hope all the vendors ID you and everytime you reply to one of their sales, they E-mail you back with a higher price!! Better yet, I hope NOT A SINGLE PERSON SENDS YOU ANOTHER PM and you end up scraping the hell out of the rims on a curbe tomorrow ![]() |

Feel as you wish guys...that's your opinion. Because I decided to work this backwards (ask low and see what the parts are demanding) instead of being presumptuous (ask $2800 and get talked down), I don't see your point. This happens 10s of times in this forum every day.
As I said...feel as you wish. Your opinions have been noted and discarded...but thanks for the bumps. ![]() |

I'm going to have to agree with the masses here. If you wanted to find out what people were willing to pay you shouldn't have posted a price!!! I have sold many things on this board, and have had multiple offers, and then when I said it was sold, had offers over asking price. But I stuck to my price, and sold to the first person who replied!!! This isn't ebay this is a Suby Brotherhood, and you should be glad to help out a fellow Subian. Someday you may need a part, and do you want someone to say, " no man I know I said $ 20, but I found out there's a big demand know, so I can't sell it to you" ????? BTW if you bought an STI were you willing to overpay for that, or did you want to get a fair price??? Like my mother said" what comes around goes around" good luck selling these!!!

$1600 IS MORE THAN FAIR.
I have bought 4 sets now... (dont ask) ... paid as low as $1500 delivered and as high as $2400..... No reason to crap on his thread. |

What happened to just being far and not always looking out for yourself?
I just ordered my winter rims. Rota's from Subydude. They have been selling like mad for the last week. Over 100 units in a week!!! Same price! Now that's what it is about!!! I bet you don't even wave to other Subaru's on the road when you pass them! ![]() |

I have to agree with clonegts here, too many times I have tried selling things on this board with a set price and everybody and their brother tries to low ball me.
blah blah blah $1600 + buyer pays shipping "would you take $1300 shipped for it, thats all I have" "how about $1000 and I'll get shipping" "Would you sell them for $1500 flat?" Hes doing it in reverse who cares unless you are one of those people that pm'd him and also paypaled him a $500 deposit right away. |

And yes, I am telling you that I would sell it to the first person with the money for the price I advertised. That would fit definitions like "honest", "upright" and "fair." |

He is NOT doing it in reverse. He asked for $1600 +shipping on the very first post on this thread. He didn't decide to take "best Offer" until he had 10 + interested people at that price. That is not reverse, that is ethically questionable and not what I would come to expect among a group of Subaru enthusists. Enough Said... ![]() |

When you come on and say "I'll sell them for X", and then come back later with "gee, there's so much interest I'm raising the price now", people get pissed off. It's called a bait and switch. Don't be that way. Auction: Good Bait and Switch: Bad |

Wow....unreal....really. Do you guys have nothing to do all day? Scared off? It's called a salary...have to do something to earn it.
![]() To all with opinions....I'll say it again.......spout away....it's falling on deaf ears. I'm glad I can keep you guys busy though. I never said $1600 and they are out the door. I said I was asking for $1600. I also asked for $14500 on the Celica I sold 3 months ago and ended up with a check for $15000....that's the way it works. Now...I apologize to the world of do-it-yourself lawyers in the crowd pointing out I forgot the OBO phrase. I figured "asking" was close enough.....damn....we need to write up some legal documents in order to sell some parts around here. Turn this into a "do good for your Subie brotheren"??? Wha?? If you want to start that, take up a revolt on dealers who want $875 a rim! I'm selling em...I didn't ask for a lot, obviously a low ball, and I get crucified. If this is to say those interested do not want them for anything over $1600......that's cool with me. I have someone that has offered slightly higher to take them. Fight....scream...knock yourselves out.....I'm not going to respond any further unless an offer is involved. My lord....... ![]() |
