Default sti ecu reflash

what experinces have people had when bringing their STI's to the dealership for reflashes? Mine is at subaru of santa monica.
At first they said they had not heard of any problems, it took me about 2 weeks of continual proding to get them to do something.
Now I'm told I will be without the car for up to 10 days-with out a loaner.
Anybody getting better service?

Most people have it take 3 days WITH a loaner. Call and request to speak to the service manager. If he doesn't help you, call the sales guy you bought it from. Then try the sales manager, then the the GM. If none of them resolve it to your satisfaction, speak to Subaru. That is the chain of command IMO.

Mine took four days, but Subaru provided a rental through Enterprise. Redwood City, CA.
