Default Exhaust systems for the BE...

Who out there makes cat-back or axleback exhaust systems for a BE legacy sedan other than prodrive, and cobb?

Prodrive makes and axle-back that I'm considering.
Cobb makes a catback which is rather expensive... I want to know what other options are out there.

Any help is appreciated.

Well besides those you mentioned, another one that I can think is Brullen.

Yeah, the only other other one I know besides Brullen, Cobb and Prodrive is MRT. I *think* there were some Borla setups as well. Might also try searching the Legacy forum here, could come up with others we are forgetting.

Stromung is another company, they only had axle backs when i got mine.

i would personally get a brullen(actually i did) their quality is excellent and they sound awesome. they are a little more expensive though. if you want performance go for cat-back, just a nice look and sound, or cant afford the cat back right now do the axle-back, either way i would go Brullen. but thats just me, and GTBGUY is great to work with.

I checked brullen's website and didn't see any exhaust systmes mentioned for the legacy. Can anyone point me to where I can find more information on what they have to offer for my cars?

Thanks,
-Ricter

Default iON/Brullen exhaust GB

Ricter - all the info for the GB will be posted in the Vendor's GB section by the end of the week Brullen exclusively manufacturers Subaru exhausts for us, hence it's not found on their page.

I had Stromung before, and I was a bit put off by its long exhaust tips. I had the dual tip version and exhaust tips stick out to the end of bumper. For many people, it might not be a problem, but I would like the exhaust tip to stay inside of the bumper.

I am actually trying to trae my Fujitsubo cat-back exhaust with stock system + cash, but looks like you are 3000mi away.

Are these exhaust only sold in group buys? Anyway I can get information on what you have to offer beforehand?

I'm hoping to get something this week.

Ricter - no the systems are always available through us even w/o a GB. The GB will just save you money.

Here's some general info for you:

The systems are constructed out of mandrel bent 16 gauge T304SS, and then further coated with a layer of black hi-temp paint to help resist corrosion.

You have a choice of piping diameter -> 2.25", 2.5" and 3" (only for turbo cars).

You have a choice of acoustic preference -> quiet, medium or loud.

You have a choice of tip styles -> single 3.5", 4" or dual 3"

If you have any further questions in which you'd like more specific answers, feel free to email us -> info@ionperformance.com
