The Advans are 18 inch by 7.5 inch TCIIs in +48 offset and the tires are 245-40-18 Toyo RA1's Big thanks goes out to Greg at Toyo for his support, and the wheels were brought to this country by yours truly and are available in many sizes. See the vendor forum if you have questions about wheels.

The Brace is a Do-Luck 100% Aluminum One Piece strut tower brace which weighs 3 lbs. It has not been fitted yet. This and many more exciting Do-Luck Suspension products are on the way and will be completely written up by monday.

The scenery is Alki Beach in West Seattle.

Enjoy!

can you crop the photos? There is a ton of "dead" space on alot of them that could be axed to give people on modems a chance to see it.

WorldOne,

First I must say that the TCII's have been my FIRST CHOICE of rims if I had the money and they look awesome on your STi! Got a few questions about the rims:

I understand that Advan utilized the hollow spoke design in the TCII's which explains the "holes" that reside in the middle of the rim adjacent to the lug nuts, but are they plugged up or to they go straight through? I guess what I'm trying to ask is do I have to worry about dirt and other road debris getting inside the holes and clogging them up? Also, do you happen to have the weight specs on the TCII rims? They're supposed to be Advans lightest rim out right now and I am curious as to what they weigh.

Thanks for all your help and the awesome pictures!

Still...

Thank you for the compliments they are sincerely appreciated. About the wheels. They do utilize a hallow spoke design, but as you can see, the holes are plugged up by little blue rubber stoppers the come with each wheel. Therefore you can leave them unplugged as many do for mag shoots and what not and you can plug them back up for every day use.

The TCIIs in 18 inch by 7.5 inch weight precisely 15.99lbs!! I think this makes them the only 18 inch cast wheel that weighs less then 16 lbs and is publically available.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about them and stay tuned for the next phase of modification. Its already lined up.

Thanks,

15.99 lbs!?!?! Wow those things ARE light, especially for an 18 inch rim! I could only imagine what the 17's would weigh. Suddenly the TCII's are back on the roster for me in terms of actually purchasing. In all honesty, one of the main concerns about the TCII that I had(even more so than the high price) were those holes and how I wouldnt be willing to risk clogging them up while driving. Thanks for clearing that up about the rubber stoppers that come with the rims; that is really good to know. Thank you so much for all the help, it's much appreciated.

Looks excellent, however IMHO it needs a really nice tint job!

BTW those tcII's are sweet!

What kind of engine management are the new STi's using?

Looks great! I'll be anxious to see what an STi looks like without the bird catcher and maybe a painted Kaminari type reverse scoop hood.

BTW, the car looks like a rolling ad for Continental Airlines. At least the blue isn't BRP.

Excellent!

I agree, I'd get rid of the scoop and get some tint next. Perhaps a reverse-scoop.

Continental Airlines gives me free air miles for the road publicity. LOL, just kidding. In all honestly I have never seen our globe likend to the continental logo, but honestly I can see the similarities.

Hi there....

Folks, a reverse cowl hood is already in the works, you all requesting that I mod the car with parts that don't exist yet. Give me some time.... Actually I love the support, keep it coming.

Regarding the tint, I am not sure on this one, since the car frequents so many shows, I like for people to be able to see in the windows when i don't want to have them rolled down.

I like to be able to leave shows that are 8+ hours long...

The jury is still out on that one..

Cheers,

I dig the strut bar and I second the question about clearing the TMIC.
