Default refinishing wheels in gold?

Anyone know where I could get my stock wheels refinished in gold? I want to use them for snow tires and would love to have gold wheels on all the time (probably buying P1's as soon as it's out of the shop)... how much do you think this would cost me?

I was planning on getting mine powder coated gold at a place in Ephrata, just down the road from my office. I chose the color and they ordered the paint, but I am having second thoughts about it. I've read on several threads that the baking process of powder coating weakens the aluminum, so I'm probably not going to do it. But either way, they were gonna do it for me for about 40 bucks per wheel.

If you find a place that will repaint them gold, let me know. I might be interested.

I've seen a lot of the same about it weakening the wheels. I'll probably just sell them and buy some Rotas. Oh well.

Take a look at these 2 links...

Duplicolor

Their actual wheel paint colors don't include gold, but i'm sure that the high temp engine paint works fine. I bought a used set of 02 WRX wheels painted gold with this paint, and they look pretty good.

I am thinking about doing this to my car too, only I'll probably go gunmetal or black on my stockers for winter beaters. I considered powder coating, and the "weakness" plus the cost just wasn't worth it to me. I'd rather spend the $160.00 on some new tires than on making my stockers look different. However, 2 cans of $5.00 spray paint I can swallow. We'll see.

Ya, spray paint works. I used Rust-O-Lium on my RS wheels. Just wet sand, paint, wet sand, paint, etc. for about 5 or 6 times. Make sure you mask off your tires and spray your center caps as well (I also masked off the inside hub of the wheel, but that's not necessary). I wanted a dull finish so I didn't use clear coat after, but if you want the paint to be more durable and hold the color for longer a coat or two of that couldn't hurt.
Also, it takes four cans, I used them all up w/ no paint left. It also cost me ~$45 to do this but my purchase included 4 cans of spray paint, 2 cans of clear coat, 1 roll of 3" wide masking tape, and wet sand paper, all at Home Depot.

Here are some pics. I also taped it off so that there would be a lip on them for added bling.
