what are most WRX's stolen for? I can see why they would want STI's but stock WRX's? What gives...sorry if the question sounds lame but i jsut switched from a full race built civic to a wrx and trying to get a grip on the theft issues.

NJ reading comprehension = -2

1) This thread is reporting thefts and details of a car that is currently stolen, recoveries and questions should not be posted here. There is a very good reason for this - for each person who is subscribed to the thread when they get a notice that a new post is up they go look to get information to see if they can help recover it - if you don't have information on a car that is currently missing post someplace else.

2) Who cares why they are stolen - they are. Probably because they are easy to steal and then they can either joy ride, take the OEM parts that do sell for various reasons or so they can commit another crime.

Sorry to hear about that man, I am putting an aftermarket security system in my STi ASAP... I can't believe our cars are so easy to steal apparently....

I've notice a few people here posting about their cars being stolen. Well the other night when I went to smoke I notice a car creeping down my road I've never seen before. It was 12am, Saturday, car was either an late 80s Datsun, rx7, or 280z that dull silver. Usually my car is parked at the top of the driveway and blocked in, but I drove it around that day. My car wasn't stolen, but this car was really out of place. I know my neighbors and its not a high traffic road, I usually don't have any cars follow down my road or I'll circle.

Hope it helps, sorry couldn't get tags.
