Default Help with Amp Wiring HELP FAST

I am trying to hook up a subwoofer in place for the stock upgraded sound sub. I wired the RCA adapter box from the wiring harness that came out of the stock sub/amp add-on. But now i need a remote power wire and the one for the stock sub is on constantly. Does anyone know another accessory with 12v's that turns off when the car is off or when the radio is off?

I looked behind the stock Head Unit and I couldnt find a Power Antenna wire. Can someone please give me another alternative for the remote wire?

Do you have a volt-meter? If you do you can find a wire that gets power when the key is "ON". This will be the "ignition" or "switched" wire. E-mail me with your phone number if you are still having problems. dcilib@epix.net

i have been using a voltmeter.... i checked behind the head and there was a wire that was clipped to a harness...but it wasnt plugged into anything. It has no power to it... and we also tested the power to the stock sub...but the stock sub is always getting power and it has another switch inside the stock amp that turns on when it gets a signal. So we couldnt use that power wire...check your email...i will send u my phone #

There is a number of places where you could tap
the clock,stock radio, the iginition....etc

all you need is a tester and patience, the best one is the radio
harness all the power is there.

just go to pepboys buy a tester that is ecu safe, ground one end of the tester stick the tip in wire with the switch set to on(make sure theres sound coming out of your speakers) when the tester
lights up turn the switch to off if the tester light goes off than
thats your remote wire(only one does it on the whole harness)

i would say to get the power from the clock but you cant turn the clock off.

hope it helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
