Default A very big and special thanks to Subaru for today.

Just wanted to say thanks Subaru and every who put the event on today. I'm sure others will chime in with much better worded "thank you's"

Yeah, big thanks for all the goodies, food, and support. I hope that there are more that I will be able to make it to.

Hopefully I can drive a bit better next time, instead of sliding all over the place

Thank you for a great event. Lets do it again....like next weekend.

Great job to those in charge for making the event possible and those who got it off smoothly.

Thanks

I loved the event! My first ever autocross and I had so much fun!!

The only dissapointment is that TaiChi edged me out by a tenth of a second to steal away the third place Newbie Class Title. So no trophy.

Best run was 52 seconds. I was happy.

Great event, it was also my first ever autocross and I'm addicted to it already. I got a 3rd place trophy in the novice class and would have gotten a 4th place trophy in the DS class but since I was in novice, they didn't give it to me. My best run was a 53.626 and I realize just how much the RE92's suck. I was sliding all over the place. But all the people there were nice and it went amazing. I can't wait till next year!

If anyone has good pictures or videos of my car (#9) please let me know!!!

What? I looked at the roster and I was 4th... weird. Also, my best time was 52. Maybe I did get a trophy? Ooooh. Can't let myself get my hopes up.

Dude, if you still had the Jeep, you could have autocrossed that! (by the way, this is TURF from the JU board, we talked a while back during the blizzard when I asked you to pick up my friend from down town)

Hey, just got home about 2 hours ago from the Subaru Challenge. That was awesome...you guys did great. It was nice to finally put faces with all of the stories. I'll definitely be there next year.

Damn straight it was a great time!

Thanks Buster for the hospitality, everyone organizing the event, and everyone I spoke to all day. Nothing but friendly faces. And for the SM class guys that were cheering me on at the start line, I'll get those Imprezas next time.

Even if I put up the worst times of the day, am horribly sunburned on my face and arms, had to disconnect my whole damn complicated sound system, and found out two struts are on their way out, I still had a great time.

Vote for me for the 'best effort of the day' award!

-Ben, that guy in the #81 stock legacy.

PS - I'm taking my film to be developed tomorrow, and if anyone has shots of my legover, lemme know!

I loved the event. Thanks Subaru!! The goodies, friendly racing, grub and all around great time. I loved it and can't wait for the next. Now ALL of my friends that came along want a Subaru. Two of us seven already have subie's but the other five are dieing to get them so that they can do this next time. I definately enjoyed the event.
This was my first auto-x and now I'm hooked.
Next time I hope to have at least decent brakes and suspension to go along with the WRX engine.
Take it easy, Micah

Yeah...that was a lot of fun! The event was well organized and everything ran pretty smooth. Thanks for all the goodies and the food. I wish all Auto-X's came with lunch and a bag of stuff.

Saw a lot of friends, and made some new ones. The course was pretty simple, but still a lot of fun. Definitely pretty fast down that frist straight and across the back section after the slalom. Of course my last run was my fastest, by over as second, because I didn't drive like a maniac. Slowed down, and I went faster. Go figure.

Had a great time! Thanks again to Subaru and all the organizers!

Man, no love for the Legacy.

However, I have a bunch of video from the event. A special thanx to Tim for filming(on my camera) heat 3, while I did my runs. Have some decent shots of quite a few cars, but only partial, as the course was a bit hilly, and all filming was of the first half. Anyone have a server for large video? I haven't put it in digital format yet, but it's about 9 minutes of total video.

And also thanx to everyone who put the event on! I too had a blast, and want to do more!

Awsome event! I had an absolute blast . Thanks to everyone involved in making the event possible. I enjoyed trying out a new set of Kumho V700's they stuck like glue. I also enjoyed meeting a variety of Subaru fans and reps Look forward to the next opportunity to participate.
