Default I think I'm gonna break some kind of record

I just got ANOTHER ticket today.

I thought I had a boost leak so while I was flooring it and staring at my boost gauge, there was a cop coming in the other direction. I swear this crap ONLY happens to me.

I'm gonna have to sit down and seriously consider parting out/selling the WRX.

My first ticket in my life (other than a seatbelt ticket) was for speeding, back in February. I have 2 points on my license from that one.

This is my SECOND ticket in two weeks!! Both for speeding.

Wouldn't this be the 27th thread you started about thinking to part out and sell your car?

Well for how long I have been driving I'm up to 4 speeding tickets But the first 3 where in my first car a 1987 Subaru GL 1.8 wagon

Now don't have to sell your car just keep it on the down low.

Speeding with this car is very tempting indeed. You have to have very good self-control not to floor it everytime you see open space in front you.

I got a speeding ticket 2-3 months after getting the wrx going 75 on the GCP. My only other speeding tickets happened 10 years before that, 75 on LIE and 40 on GCP service road two blocks from my former coop apt.

My head is always going "you play - you pay" to counter any prolonged urges of stepping on it.

Sorry to hear that. Remember that construction area ticket I got (60 in a 35) the same time as your last ticket? Well, the next week I got clocked doing 90 in a 65 passing an Acura on the NJTP(bad timing...oh, and word to the wise, DO NOT speed on the turnpike, its infested with unmarked cars).

Anyway, at least that officer was very kind, and wrote me up for 70 in a 65 and a $42 seatbelt ticket, instead of 90 in a 65 and careless driving.

So that's 3 speeding tixs and the seatbelt ticket in 3 months w/this car. So much for my clean driving record for 8 years. Anyway, my driving style has changed somewhat as a result of ticket fear.

"Accelerating" to 47 mph in a 35.

Not driving, "accelerating". Whatever the hell that means.

Anyone near me know a good lawyer?

if you don't have a full year without a moving violation, then the points just don't go away.
i am very familiar with the courts in bergen, hudson and passaic countys as well.
lost my license at least 4 times.
insurance used to be $8250 per year with full coverage on one car.
now it's $5500.

i feel ya -

2001 = a little over $1k in speeding tickets. All but 1 were in NJ and PA so i lucked out on the points against my lisence. i've been stopped A LOT in NY, but luckily have PBA cards and shields(no help in NJ though)

don't get rid of your car because of tickets - rather, invest in a Valentine1?
