Lightbulb The Official Sandblast Fall Rally Thread!!

http://sandblastrally.com/2003fall/

It's getting close, the best rally action and spectating in the Southeast. Those who were there earlier this year know how much fun it is, so who is up for the fall rally?

Opie & Family will be there! Reservations have already been made at the Days Inn.

Post & Discuss here!

So how cold is northern South Carolina in November anyhoo? I like the cold....but the other half anf the little one....well, we might have to buy some warmer clothing if it's gonna be cold.

P.S. Cold to a native Floridian (my wife!) is anything below 75 degrees.....

Default Yup

Obviously I'll be there. The conversion is running, and should be road-worthy well before then.

I'll be posting a spectator map later today. Check sandblastrally.com. I'll try to get the entry form up too.

I haven't linked it on the web site yet, but here is the low-res version of the spectator map. Enjoy.

Anders,

Thanks for the link!

I'll be there; I have been for the previous two and it's one of my favorite events to go to of any kind.

Oh and Crazyhorse; there are no gravel roads. It's called the sandblast rally for a reason.

There wasn't a fall event until just recently. That's just fine by me; I like this rally site quite a bit so I'm down for it twice a year.

About as cold as it was at the Feb event. We had coats, and it got a little chilly a couple times 'in the woods'. But relatively nice.

Pics from the 'Spring 2003' event located:

http://www.kvt-mvt.org/RallySaab/sandhills.html

Note the road surface, it's sand baby!, no gravel here.
