Post Sparco seat split?

Primm Racing is having a killer deal on Sparco seats right now. I'm going to grab a pair of black REV's, and probably some Sabelt 4-point harnesses. If someone was after the CORSA seat instead - I'd be willing to get those as well, although they're not my first choice since they have higher leg bolsters, which isn't quite as comfortable for day-to-day driving.

The thing is, I don't want to subject my passenger's to the upright racing position, so I want to sell one of the seats. Anyone in the bay area want to take the other seat for half the cost?

The deal is $725 shipped for the PAIR (CORSA's are $800)... A great deal, considering Wine Country Racing sells the REV for $519 PER SEAT... Yikes. I believe the brackets will be extra, but I'm not sure yet.

Yo Calvin. Black, of course. I mean... I've got a black wagon, tinted windows, anthracite wheels, a black interior... Muwahahahahaaa... My girlfriend always says I look sexiest in black. Not sure if you can get the seat inserts for these - but if so, you could get whatever sparco color you like. It's the seat portion, then up the back.

BTW, delivery is 3 weeks to drop ship from the UK. They've got a set of black REVs in stock, ready to go - but not the Corsa's.

As soon as my royalty check posts (hoping tonight), I'll order them. Do you want the REV's or the Corsas? The advantage to the REV's are that you can use the colored cushion inserts, and the leg-bolsters aren't as high. On the other hand, the Corsa's look like they're "tighter" - which essentially why I'm getting seats - so they'll hold you in better in turns.

So, it's your call on whether we get Corsas or REVs. (again, the REV's are in stock).

Alright, I placed the order with Dante, but couldn't give him a CC number yet. My main card (just cancelled the other one) is maxed out due to my WRX buying spree, and my checking account is awaiting the posting of a huge royalty check which won't post until Monday. Hopefully he'll at least give us dibs... I'll let you know.

(Edit - Dante just e-mailed me back. He's got a hold on the seats, and they'll ship them out as soon as I get him the money on Monday.)

Do you need a harness? He's got a deal on 3 point harnesses right now (<A href="http://www.i-club.com/cgi-bin/ubb6/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=16&t=000674&p=1" target="_new">http://www.i-club.com/cgi-bin/ubb6/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=16&t=000674&p=1</a>) - $150 for the pair. We can split that as well if you like. I'm actually torn between 3 and 4 point - it seems like the 4 point would be easier to mount since I don't have a roll cage.

Heh. The bug has hit bigtime, dude. I still don't think I'm going to do any crazy engine mods or anything... But I've been doing enough serious driving to want new seats. Been getting tossed around a bit too much in the stockers. The stock seats are great - way better than my Forester's - but, ya know... I wanna be *strapped in*.
I'm definitely down with a trip up to Mendocino, but it's going to be a while. Next weekend is my gf's birthday, then the weekend after that I'm driving to Utah (whoo hoo!). So, earliest would be the weekend of the 30th. Hopefully I'll have my RL-7's and R700's by then!

P.S. - Got the WRX tinted yesterday, it looks soooo badass with the P7's and tint. Contemplating painting the WRX badge and Subaru letters Anthracite... Hahahahaa...

Not sure if I'll be at Bozz - it's my girlfriend's b-day. Most likely I will be.

I'll definitely be at the auto-x at Golden Gate Fields tomorrow. No big rush on getting a check to me, although I appreciate it.

Check your PM's for the deal on the harnesses!

I'll let you know about Mendocino. I'll need to coordinate with Chewyguru, and there's a slight chance I may be flying back to NC that weekend.
