Thumbs up

I was THIS close to buying a 2001 GTI VR6...it was a tossup and I finally decided that I wanted the looks and handling of the RS over the extra power and luxury of the Golf. (Not to mention the $4500 I saved!) They are very nice cars though.

VW,No problem!! As long as it's not a neon. I almost got a Jetta myself! The RS is just too much fun to drive. I'm new also, but welcome to the site, it's great!

I once had a 1985 VW Golf 2D. Fun little car. I did the exaust, made a "ram air" intake for it, K&N filter, and sport cam. That thing was fairly quick. But with almost 300,000 miles on it, it was getting a little tired. Welcome to the club, and feel free to ask questions about anything car related. That's what we're here for!
