Default speaker questions

1: I am ordering from Crutchfield which of course doesn't list the 03 Impreza for fitment. But you guys all agree that ordering 5.25 for the rear is okay?

2: I am ordering line converters and using my stock radio. I also have factory sub (which I installed myself to keep myself a little happy until I upgraded). I can't remember though, does the sub get its signal from the regular speaker leads? If so, how can I keep it while still installing line converters to run RCA to the amp?

4" is a perfect fit for the back. 5 1/4" will fit, but you'll be mounting them straight to metal instead of the factory bracket (unless you us a spacer, which isn't necessary) and you'll have to make your own mounting holes.

Not sure about the factory sub, sorry.

Thanks, man. I went ahead and got the 5.25s so my 6.5 components wouldn't be as much more than the rears as they would with 4s.
Anybody know about the sub thing?
