And please, no posts about how it's stupid to pay $35 for an oil filter. If you post something like that, you obviously don't get it. This is STi!

they list zerosprts and syms air filters but i custom orders side markers from them, I'm sure they would get you a STi filter. I bet some of the vendors have them too.

holy cow all i asked was where i could get a STI air filter not to be insulted by some guy with a pink marker . Im glad you feel that way and i'm sure you have a great car but some of us are here to gather information for our "own" projects not insults . If you choose to do something different to your all the more power to ya for being different but don't start knockin other people.

Listen, Zolis, chill out. This is the Legacy forum. People here don't want to see you waste ~$50 on an air filter or ~$35 for an oil filter. Some good natured taunts are in order for anyone whose is seriously considering buying those parts.

I mean, jeez, is that site with STi parts a joke? Carbon fiber crush washers? You've got to be kidding.

Quote from that site:

What's the big deal? Dude, I tried it and I immediately felt the car running cleaner. And my butt dyno registered significant gains. Since filters are easy to change, I did two runs with the STi and two runs with the SOA filter. The difference was night and day.

That's proof! I don't know how it works, but it does have the STi logo.

zolis23- If that comment was geared towards my previous statement, then I am sorry; as the original nature of the message was suppose to be for a little laugh. Maybe I should've added a "" at the end.

Sorry for the confusion; I try not to piss people off. And no, I don't own a car.

i think that was aimed at ciper. and hey, some of us do run 50 dollar filters.

i have over 4 grand into my motor and my air filter was almost 100 bucks. some of us are in it for the performace.

ziols, sorry about what happened. ciper has been jumping on people for little things. i said i like the sound of a bov and wow it turned into a killer fight. another guys asked for jdm tails and said euro tails because he thought that is what they were and well ciper jumped on him thinking that he wanted alteza.

i posted the link above to a site that has the sti air filter, i think they are the cheapest dealer on nasioc.

Just to clarify- I have no problem seeing money well spent on a decent air filter.

if the STi "high flow" air filter is a washable & re-usable, oiled, KN style panel filter, then sure, it's worth $50.00. or more.

If it's anything like the oil filter, which appears to be as disposable as a ~$6.00 stock one, then it's a complete waste of money.
