Model: Legacy L Wagon
Year: 1994
Engine: 2.2L N/A
Color: Dark Green
Interior: Beige
Miles: 120K

Power Mods:
-K&N drop-in panel filter

Interior:
-Kenwood KDC-319 removably face CD player

That's about it for now... Going to see about saving up for a newer legacy or outback sport, then see about setting this one up for auto x-ing. In the meantime, gonna see about keeping it alive. Once I do, these mods will be soon to come...

Power Mods:
-Cold air intake
-2.5" or 3" custom flowmaster cat-back exhaust w/ a 60 series Flowmaster Muffler
-Redtop Optima battery

Suspension:
-Whiteline 20mm non-adjustable front swaybar
-Whiteline Control Springs
-Performance shocks of undetermined make
-Front Strut tower brace from anyone I can find that makes 'em...

Rollers & Stoppers:
-16" Stock WRX wheels w/ Yokohama Avid H4 all-season performance tires.
-2-Pot front caliper upgrade
-Cross drilled rotors
-Goodridge SS brakelines

Interior:
-Racing buckets of some sort
-5-point Sparco harness

You may notice nothing about a cluch upgrade or flywheel. That's because it's an automatic. It's a good automatic, but it's still an automatic. I may see about finding a decent 5-speed from a legacy or 2.5 RS, but it will most likely stay an automatic.

My car is pretty stock compared to some of the rides around here.

- Kartboy short shifter
- STi tranny mount
- KYB GR2 struts
- Whiteline Control Springs
- Group N strut top mounts (front)
- Stromung high-flow cat pipe
- stainless steel brake lines
- snorkus removal (is that really a mod?)

- Rota Subzeros w/ Kumho 712's for "summer"
- WRX stock wheels with Dunlop Wintersport M2's for winter
- trailer hitch
- Hella Supertones
- trunk monkey (adds 100+hp)
- Kenwood D-mask stereo
- baby seat

Oooh, I also painted my grill black. And I also blacked out the silly wood trim bits around the window switches.

--Awaiting install- 19mm rear swaybar, Kartboy endlinks, WRX front brakes, H6 rear brakes

21. JDM STi Momo steering wheel (anyone know where to get a STi e-brake handle?)
22. Apple sticker

I think that's it. There may be more. I forget sometimes.

What's coming:

1. The Monovich/MannySubia projector foglight mod
2. Going to see if the 18" Legacy bling wheels will fit or not
3. Engine swap (next year, after I buy a house). JDM V7/8 STi or a built USDM 2.0.
4. Manual tranny swap when the engine swap happens.

This should hold me over until the Legacy STi comes over in about 2-3 years. I'll probably drive this car until the wheels fall off anyway, though.

gimme Legacy TPH wagon!

Thumbs up

I dislike threads like this if only for the simple fact that I don't really have much done to the big green monster.

Anyway, here's my mod/repair list.

99 BD Legacy SUS
Spruce Green Pearl (I think)
86k and change

Engine:
silencer removed
K&N panel filter
leaky gasket somewhere (gotta love the burning oil smell)

Handling:
98 OE 16x6 RS golds
215/60-16 Falken ZIEX 502 (need replacement)
99 OE Outback 15x6.5 silvers
205/70-15 Michelin XW4s (one is flat)

Braking:
KVR x-drilled rotors (rear)
KVR cf pads (rear)

Interior:
HVAC lights that actually work (recently replaced)
swapped locations for wiper defroster switch and heated seat switches
"1, 2, 3, 4" preset buttons burned out on radio

Exterior:
finally washed a day ago after two months of no washing
newly found scratch in passenger-side rear door that wasn't there before

Of course, the list is an ever-changing process. Someday, I hope to have enough money to repair stuff. Until then, I can't wait until my next door-ding mod.
