where to get a helmet around here? anyone going to english town on sunday?

well I have never actually dragged my car at a track yet. and its about time i start. I have a txs stage 3 basically. hopefully i can hit 13.5 or so. I know you need a helmet, but i def dont have one. any suggestions for a better time to go down to englishtown? would weds. nights be better for a first timer?

This Friday night is going to be good. It is supposed to be very cold. I have a spare helmet. It's a full face HJC. I'll sell it really cheap if you are interested. If not, you can just borrow it for the night. If you go, what time do you think you will be there?

as long as the helmet meets whatever regulations they are (and fits my head) i'd take it. unfortunately i cant go friday or saturday's because i work from 10am to 1030pm....so sunday or weds are the only days i can

Where in NJ do you live? I live in Toms River and work in Monmouth County. The helmet meets the standards. It's DOT and Snell approved. It was $180 new. It has some scratches on it. I think it's a small. I didn't pay for it. It was only a few months old when I got it. All the insides can be removed and washed. $25 and it's yours.

i didnt know they even rent them out LOL...shows what a newbie i am. im from bergen county...i was just down by ninos yesterday..my head is kinda big like as far as a hat its 7 and 3/8 so i dont think a small would work. lol. but i might be going down to do up the rear brakes soon, so we'll see

so pinochle, how do you race? auto crossing? road courses? i prefer road courses myself...but there arent any that are close

I used to autox a lot w/ NASA. But the Meadowlands has teh suck. So there hasn't been an event in a while.

Rallying is the game too. RS22b and I are a rally team. Although, we need a car.

And road courses are cool. Lime Rock is very close to Ramapo!!!!
