Post Extra Plug in engine bay! (by water bottle) HELP!

Hello,
I wish to attach something to this plug and was wondering if any one has done so or knows how to?
I need to know where the plug leads to..
if it is ignition switched?
it is 12volts right?
PICTURES would be very helpful..
any tips/ suggestions would be welcome as well!
Thanks all...
Kian S.

Yes, pictures would be very helpful, what plug are you talking about?

Jim

Edit: Are you talking about the extra plug that's on the same wiring harness as the fuild sparyer motor? That's the only one that I can think of right now.

That plug is for the second washer fluid pump on the Impreza Wagon and the OBS.... it traces back to the bottom of the windshield wiper control stalk on the steering colum.

Dark blue with a black stripe... you will find it at the very base of the wiper control stalk (you have to remove the steering wheel cover to get at it).

Hey North Ursalia, that's the power wire right, do I just ground to the closest black?
or directly to frame somewhere?
thanks...

kaos200, it's technically the power wire, but just remember, subaru switches ground instead of power (power travels when ground is applied) so pick a good grounding spot.

I have pics of where the wire ends up on the AZScooby.com site under the headlamp washer mod section. It's kind of hard to see but I think I described how to find it. Brian is right. Ground that blue with black stripe wire and it will give you power to the plug. Read through the install directions here:
http://www.azscooby.com/mods/AZScoob...mpwasher.shtml

I had to pull the steering colmun apart under the wiper stalk and trace the wire back to the plug under the dash.
